BABATÚNDÉ ỌLÁṢAYỌ̀ PÓPÓỌLÁ holds a Bachelor of Degree in view in Linguistics/Yoruba from University of Lagos. His final year thesis is on “The used of Oral Literature in Afọ̀njá movie” Supervisor: Caleb S. Ọ̀wọ́adé M.A. (LAGOS)
He is currently a Research Assistant to Prof. Ọlàdiípọ̀ Ajíbóyè of the Department of Linguistics African and Asian Studies, Unilag and Dr. Abísóyè Ẹlẹ́shin of Institute of African and Diaspora Studies, (I.A.D.S.) University of Lagos in a project titled “Yorùbá Indigenous Advertisement”
He is also a Translator, Newscaster and a Radio Presenter in UNILAG103.1FM.
He has received numerous academics awards. He is a Yorùbá Teacher, a Poet and an advocate of Yorùbá culture..
